密西根州立大學作曲博士，自由作曲家、編曲家、音樂老師、兒童音樂專輯製作人，及兩個孩子的媽。
作品種類和編制廣泛，從單純的音樂作品、影像配樂、到劇場音樂。

近年參與製作少年得到APP《音樂有意思》線上課程、國家兩廳院 2018 Open House《白日夢寶寶音樂會》、親子音樂會《給你，特別的禮物》《Cooby我想聽你彈琴》、幼兒聲景劇場《一欉樹仔》等。 領有義大利Segni Mossi創意肢體藝術研習證書、美國 Music Together 音樂教學教師證、達克羅氏教學法國際研習證書、高大宜333及Poco Piano師資證書。
致力為孩子創作及改編各種音樂，提供更豐富廣泛的音樂資源。陳為伶長期與國家兩廳院合作「NTCH Arts Playland兩廳院嚴選˙親子限定—音樂課程」「館館好朋友—小耳朵系列親子音樂課」，將各類型音樂、艱深的表演藝術，轉化成孩子也能理解甚至喜愛的方式， 改編成朗朗上口的歌曲，藉此提供孩子更豐富更全面的音樂學習資源，期盼小小的音樂種子，能在孩子的成長過程中激發更多創意和感受。

Wei-Ling Chen (b.1981), a Taiwanese composer, has composed for a variety of media including orchestra, various chamber ensembles, solo works, choir, theatrical works, and electroacoustic works. She has received her Doctoral of Musical Arts in Music Composition from the Michigan State University. She also holds Master of Music in Music Composition from the University of Houston, and Bachelor of Music Education from Taipei Municipal University of Education.
As an enthusiastic composer and educator, Wei-Ling teaches music lessons for over ten years and has been assigned and taught in Houston Taiwan Institute for Senior Citizen and Michigan State University. She has been commissioned to compose and arrange for various combinations of instruments and musicians, including Musique 21 (New music ensemble at Michigan State University), Percussion ensemble at University of Houston, Taiwanese Association in America, Clear Lake Association, John Burroughs High School Vocal Music Association, Grace Taiwan Presbyterian Church…etc.
Wei-Ling’s works have been programmed in many festivals and conferences. Most recent performances include “Symbiosis” (alto and tenor saxophones) at Taiwan Contemporary Music Forum, “Transmigration” (French horn and sound) at Women Composers Festival of Hartford Electronic Music Concert and Nanhai Gallery (Taiwan), “The Island II” (piano and a dancer) in Sound of Formorsa: fundraising Concert for the Moracot typhoon victims in Ann Arbor, “Black Hole Drift II” (actors, kumumgo, danso, singer, video, and sound) at New York University, “Au Revoir” (electroacoustic) at 60x60 Midwest Mix Festival, and broadcasted at WKCR, and “Jasmine” (electroacoustic) at the International Workshop on Computer Music and Audio Technologies (WOCMAT) at National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan).
陳為伶，南投縣人。2010年取得密西根州立大學(Michigan State University)理論作曲博士。期間追隨Mark Sullivan教授學習，並擔任「音樂電腦科技應用」教師，教授多種音樂軟體應用。除了積極參與作品發表，也經常接受各界團體或演奏家委託創作、編曲，以各種形式的樂器組合與藝術家合作，其中包括Musique 21(密西根州立大學現代室內樂團)、葫蘆墩國小打擊樂團、休士頓明湖合唱團、美國加州John Burroughs High School Vocal Music Association、休士頓台灣松年學院合唱團、南投之音三重奏、男高音及假聲男高音李文智、法國號演奏家林安緹、薩克斯風演奏家Drew Whiting、 Heidi Bellinger 及Mike Teager、鋼琴家劉倩芸及蕭淑瑾、小提琴家黃詩婷及姚舒婷、女高音Karen Salvador、休士頓大學打擊樂團、影像藝術家Eddy Roberts及SangHyeong Yu、作家Amanda Auchter、郭彥麟以及萬忻昀。
十一歲由熊澤民老師啟蒙，以理論作曲主修進入曉明女中音樂班，通過教育部資優甄試，直升曉明女中音樂班高中部。2003年畢業於台北市立教育大學，期間師事劉文六、蕭慶瑜教授。2002年獲台北市立教育大學年度協奏曲比賽作曲組冠軍。隨後前往美國休士頓大學(University of Houston)進修，追隨Robert Nilson和Rob Smith學習理論作曲、共同創作與電子音樂，2005年取得理論作曲碩士。
2007年獲加拿大魁北克Orford International Music Academy聲音藝術研討會獎助金。同年作品「茉莉花」，為國立交通大學WOCMAT電腦音樂與音訊技術研討會展覽作品。2008年作品「Au Revoir」獲選Vox Novus 60x60美國中西部電子音樂節作品，於伊利諾州路易士大學(Lewis University)、聖路易斯大學(University of St. Louis)等地演出，及WKCR廣播電台─午後的新音樂節目中播出。2009年，為法國號與預置樂音作品「輪‧迴‧移‧轉」受邀於南海藝廊演出，並獲選為第十一屆「哈特福特女作曲家音樂節」作品。同年取得紐約大學多媒體互動共同藝術創作科技音樂研究證書(IMPACT)，劇場作品「Black Hole Drift II」於紐約演出。同年10月受邀為「福爾摩沙之聲─莫克拉風災募款音樂會」創作，「The Island II」(為鋼琴和一位舞者)於密西根安娜堡首演。2011年，薩克斯風管二重奏作品「共生」，獲選為十方樂集現代音樂論壇討論作品。
